Jay first picked up a guitar when he was about 16 and started writing songs very soon afterwards. Catchy, melodic and upbeat, Jay's music filters pop-rock influences into well-crafted acoustic songs. He writes songs that will have you singing along by the end and tapping your feet throughout, fuelled with honest, bare lyrics about all life's loves and losses.

In his early years of playing Jay featured on tours with other up-and-comers such as Jazz Morley, Alex Adams and Nina Schofield, and played to festival audiences of thousands. More recently Jay has been focussed on recorded music.
